The accredited laboratories are a service within Arcadis Schweiz LTD. The lab services comprise physical-chemical and biological examinations in the Ecotoxicology as well as cover analytical determinations of pollutions.
Analytical Laboratory
The main focus is the chemical determination of organic and inorganic pollutants in environmental samples based on the requirements of the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN):
Analyses of excavation material, waste and recycled building materials according to the Ordinance on the Avoidance and the Disposal of Waste (Waste Ordinance, ADWO)
Determinations according to the Ordinance on the Remediation of Polluted Sites (Contaminated Sites Ordinance, CSO)
Soil analyses based on the Ordinance on the Pollution of Soil (VBBo)
Analyses of waste water, surface water and ground water according to Waters Protection Ordinance (WPO) and the guidelines of the Federal Office of Home Affairs (EDI)
In addition, our extensive know-how in the field of screening analyses supports you with the identification and quantification of unknowns compounds in complex projects. For specific customer solutions we develop customized tests and new analytical methods at a fair price.
Ecotox Laboratory
The Ecotox Laboratory of Arcadis conducts ecotoxicological, physico-chemical and biodegradability studies. Those data can be used worldwide for regulatory purposes as they are conducted following international guidelines. We work mainly according to OECD and EU guidelines but also EPA/OCSPP and JMAFF are possible. The study design can be adapted to your specific needs.
The Arcadis experts are experienced in the development of individual customer solutions. The Arcadis team is familiar with a wide range of test materials such as active ingredients and products from pharmaceuticals, pesticides, biocides as well as industrial chemicals.
