The accredited laboratories provide specialized services in physico-chemical and biological investigations within the fields of pollutant analysis and ecotoxicology.

Environmental Analysis

The analytical laboratory offers comprehensive testing of solid materials, waste, soil samples, as well as wastewater, surface water, and groundwater. All analyses are conducted in accordance with current Swiss regulations, including:

• Waste Ordinance (VVEA) – Analyses of excavated, demolition, and recycled construction materials

• Contaminated Sites Ordinance (AltlV) – Investigations of potentially contaminated sites and leachate tests

• Soil Pollution Ordinance (VBBo) – Soil analyses to assess pollutant levels

• Water Protection Ordinance (GSchV) – Testing of wastewater and surface waters

• Regulations of the Federal Department of Home Affairs (EDI) – Determination of water quality

Ecotoxicology

The ecotoxicology laboratory conducts ecotoxicological, physico-chemical, and biodegradability studies in accordance with international guidelines (OECD, EU, EPA/OCSPP, JMAFF). These studies are suitable for regulatory submission worldwide.

The team has extensive experience with a wide range of test materials, including pharmaceutical active ingredients, pesticides, biocides, and industrial chemicals, and provides tailor-made study designs to meet specific customer needs.
